Honestly, I appreciate that literally anyone who watches the show regularly has decided to read my article and correct me. The thing I will concede is that somehow, despite watching it daily for like 4 weeks after it aired, I completely forgot about Chez Platypus. As for the two women in the backstories, my article was arguing that he was closeted when he dated them. Additionally, the girl's clothes would have incited gender based anxiety in him as he was a boy being raised as a girl, a typically trans male story. Finally, there is a line in Chez Platypus where his love interest states that she doesn't put "Evil" on her profile because it attracts creeps. This is extremely similar to my experience putting that I am trans on my profiles. Doofenshmirtz and his love interest have in common this LGBTQ+ analogy through their identity as "Evil."

Also please keep in mind that I don't necessarily believe what I said in the article, I just wanted to put out into the world this headcanon and provide evidence.
